Experiencing God

I (Kristy) don’t know how many of you have ever done the Experiencing God Bible study, but it’s a really awesome study! Right now, I have 2 groups of ladies meeting in my house each week. I am so grateful for the groups and especially for the time I get to spend with God! A big part of the Bible study is about building a relationship with God, looking for where He is working around you, and joining Him there. Last time I did this study we ended up buying the town newspaper and running it for 9 months, raising the money we needed for the adoption of our son.

Well, this time, as we were praying for ways we could earn some extra income, it appears God was calling our family to open a home bakery… Who knew!? I’ve always enjoyed baking yummy things for people, but had never anticipated something like this. We have been blessed to have the whole family work on things! Our daughter got right to work developing our logo while one of our sons got right to work on this website. The other son was told he could help with the dishes! 🙂

Finally, in December 2023 we started the “Loved Beyond Measure Bakery” from our home. One of my favorite things about the bakery is that 10% of the profits go to support a ministry each month. We want to make yummy food that makes a difference! While we have started small, we are excited to add more products in the future! We’re still in the very beginning stages and don’t have everything together, but we are working hard to follow God where He’s leading us and we believe this is it right now. Thanks and God bless!
